Day 6: Manila 12.24.15
Today was a pretty chill day for me, but wuite hectic for the adults because they were getting ready for the noche buena, which is a Christmas Eve dinner, a tradition in the Philippines. Since the adults were preparing all the food and making sure the lechon was delivered, us kids went out to swim. Yes, we went swimming again, after the beach trip. I guess we just couldn’t get enough of the water!
Here are some pictures from when we went swimming at the condo’s pool. It was actually really big. I didn’t get the chance to take a photo of the club house because I got too excited to swim!
So we swam for a few hours and then had a light lunch because we were saving space for tonight’s feast!
I started to get ready around 4 pm because the guests were gonna start showing up. Heres a selfie of me from that night.
I was wearing a cute half denim dress from Candy’s.
After getting ready, I took a bunch of pictures of the food! We literally had everything. We had a lot of Filipino delicacies.
This was our little noche buena dinner.
And now some pics with the fam!
It was a night full of eating, laughing, stories, and family bonding. It has been so long since the last time I got to spend Christmas in the Philippines. So this day was definitely one for the books!
